A terrain model is a three-dimensional model which contains earth's surface elevations at some points in a large area. The surface elevation at a point can be interpolated by using the end points of a triangle that contains the point.

In Bentley SewerCAD CONNECT, terrain models allow you to dynamically update node ground elevations and display surface contours and design conduit inverts using the ground elevation along the whole pipe length.
